Opening up the future between science and innovation

Collegio Gallio’s upper secondary school applied science advanced biomedical specialization represents the dynamic response of our institution to a constantly evolving world. It was conceived as an innovative and advanced approach to anticipate the growing needs of scientific and technological advancement. in a context where opportunities linked to professions in the healthcare field and industrial research are constantly increasing, our biomedical program is committed to preparing students for the challenges of the future. Its main objective is to provide a solid basis for access to university faculties and professional careers in the broad context of biotechnical and biomedical sciences, in this way, we aim to provide students with the skills and preparation necessary to successfully address emerging opportunities in these crucial sectors.

Scientific – Humanistic dualism

In addition to being scientific, the upper high school presents a unique profile, offering students a solid humanistic preparation.
It stands out for its dualistic approach which distinctly combines scientific and humanistic disciplines. Commencing in the first year of the program, special disciplinary orientations are adopted, including logic, an increasingly crucial subject for tackling university entrance tests successfully.
This integrated approach offers. students a comprehensive education, embracing the complexity of scientific and humanistic knowledge. throught the study of philosophy, another curricular subject, students acquire a broader vision of the world and develop fundamental skills to critically analyse the ethical, scientific and humanistic issues that characterize contemporary society.
