Liceo quadriennale internazionale

The school that opens the doors of the world

The four-year international scientific high school is an essential component of our ongoing commitment to educational innovation and adherance to the quality standards of the ministry of education and merit.
This study path with a focus on digital teaching aims to prepare students for the contemporary world through internationalisation, multiculturalism, and the development of key skills. the school year runs from the 1st September to the 30th June and is divided into two semesters.
In line with transparency, testing programs are delivered to the students in advance allowing them to plan their study effectively.
At the end of each two-month period, a week is scheduled for recovery of any gaps and/or the in-depth study of topics of interest delivered by experts or field trips.
From mid-June until the end of the school year, we offer opportunities for in-depth study outside of school and the chance to make up for any insufficient grades to ensure that every student can reach their maximum potential.

Bilingualism, digital teaching and collaboration with the CNR-TD

The four-year high school program, whilst maintaining a solid scientific base, also offers a focused linguistic approach.
The English language plays a central role in the didactic plan with an extensive C.L.I.L. (Content and Language Integrated Learning) project wherby 50% of the hours dedicated to history, science, mathematics and physics are to be taught in English.
Students are prepared by English native speaker teachers to obtain C1/C2 level linguistic certification. Furthermore, at Collegio Gallio, we have implemented innovative teaching methods and cutting-edge teaching in collaboration with the CNR-TD, the National Research Centre – Educational Technologies to guarantee quality training and a stimulating learning environment.

Double diploma and united nations ambassadors

In association with the mater academy of Verona, it is possible for students to participate in a program that permits obtaining an American high school diploma in addition to the Italian high school diploma which successful students will be awarded.
Additionally, thanks to the collaboration with the Italian Diplomatic Academy (IDA), students have the opportunity to immerse themselves and really can experience what it feels like to be a united nations dignitary and fly to New York to the un headquarters and partecipate in training sessions.
In order to provide comprehensive support and guidance, we offer various tutoring programs including an in-depth ‘study method’ initiative which helps students to discover strengths and areas for improvement during the first and second year of high school with the support of our internal pedagogist.
We also offer university test preparation courses to help students in their transition to university and orientation meetings to help students plan their future and make informed choices.

Workshop activities and certifications

The four-year high schoolstands out for its teaching approach that is strongly focused on workshops, enriched specialists and collaborations. students participate in a wide range of opportunities including science labs, coding sessions and soft skills development in the afternoons. Furthermore, we promote cross-age lessons with other age levels within the school. Furthermore, we offer the possibility of obtaining language certifications directly at school Collegio Gallio is a registered Cambridge exam preparation centre as well as E.C.D.L. recognition for digital skills. Collegio Gallio has long been committed to educational inclusion, and for this reason Collegio Gallio, offers a series of services and initiatives to support students. our pedagogist provides advice to students, teachers and parents, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment. We pay special attention to talented students in various fields. high level athletes benefit from the ‘high level athlete’ and have access to a personlised training project.

Interdiscipliniarity

The Collegio Gallio four-year international high school program adopts an innovative teaching methodology based on the interdiscipliniarity of the teachings. Not a summary or condensation of the topics to be covered, but a completely different approach to the disciplines. the prospectus is spread over four years with following time profile.
