Family: the fulcrum of education

The educational process places the child and their family at the centre, promoting constant interaction with peers, adult role models, the surrounding environment and culture. this approach aims to encourage the acquisition of autonomy, self-esteem and the development of skills. We create an environment where the little ones learn from the older ones, encouraging eacher’s growth in turn. Focus on the outdoors is a distinctive feature of our school with outdoor spaces and open air activities that enrich the educational experience. Teaching english with native speakers begins in the first year of preprimary, promoting an international perspective from the outset.

Outdoor education

The Collegio Gallio Preprimary school offers a unique educational environment where learning also takes place outdoors.
In this sense, the courtyard, garden and outdoor spaces are not simply appendages of the classroom but are conceived as a natural extension of the classroom itself.
Children participate in stimulating outdoor activities, promoting motor, sensory and cognitive development through play and exploration in nature.
Nature thus becomes an all-round teacher, offering valuable lessons on biodiversity, the cycle of the seasons and the importance of sustainability.

One hour of english a day

The program is part of the general orientation of the college which places english as a founding element of its educational and teaching path.

Exploring senses and creativity

We are committed to constantly researching strategies that promote the construction of thought and action, stimulating the evolution of creative intelligence. We place emphasis on a collaborative culture, intertwined with a communication network in which chidren and adults together go through experiences full of significance and profound meaning. we recognise that children are born with an extraordinary genetic ability to explore, discriminate and interpret reality through the senses. neurobiological research underlines the central role of the senses in the construction and processing of knowledge and memory, both personal and collective.
Our objective is to create a school that acts as a place capable of supporting and enriching sensory perceptions, helping to refine and mature them in the educational path of our children.
